Calculateur Online (“we”, “us”) operates en.calculateur.online and calculateur.online. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector as amended by Law 25.
Numbers you enter in our calculators
Calculations run entirely in your web browser. The amounts, rates, dates and other values you type into a calculator are not sent to our servers and are not stored by us.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. It collects technical data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and referring website. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. This data is used only for statistics and to improve the site, never to identify you.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are used only to measure audience. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not show ads, and we do not use affiliate links or tracking pixels from advertisers. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the calculators keep working without them.
Information you choose to send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it no longer than necessary to answer your request.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Data is shared only with service providers needed to run the site (web hosting and Google Analytics), who process it on our behalf, or when required by law.
Transfers outside Quebec
Our hosting and analytics providers may store data outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Before any such transfer we assess that the information receives adequate protection, as required by Law 25.
Retention
Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. Emails are deleted once your request is resolved, unless we must keep them for legal reasons.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or ask how it is used. We will answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
